Cyndi’s passion for photography, and love of art, was inherited from a grandfather she’d never met. She was given a hand-me down “broken” 35mm camera by her father, and was told “if you can get it to work, you can have it”. Not only did the camera work, but she produced such beautiful images, her father tried to take the camera back!

Cyndi was paired up with Daniel at her high school career day, and began working after school. She left to finish her degree at the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth, and obtained a BA in Visual Design and Photography.

In 2004 Cyndi returned to Daniel Doke Photography, because she couldn’t imagine anyone other than Daniel photographing her wedding. Not only did she book her photographer that day, but her passion for photography was rekindled. A week later she was back in the studio designing albums, and became one of Daniel’s top assistants.

After closely training with Daniel, Cyndi has taken the jump from assistant to photographing her own weddings. She brings a female perspective to the tight knit group of photographers. As a recent bride, Cyndi has impeccable attention to detail, and appreciates all of the work and long hours you have spent planning your wedding day.
